What is your interpretation/analysis of the book on a deeper level?

Evaluate:

What are your connections/opinions/observations about how the book is written?

Techniques:

What techniques does the author use to develop setting, characters, plot, etc.?

Passages:

Which passages are significant in the book? Why? Quote the passage, give the page #, and explain the significance.

Figurative Language:

What examples of figurative language and sound effects can you find in the book? List the example in quotation marks with the page number and tell what type it is.

Connections:

What connections can you make between the book and your own life, the real world, other literature or media, etc.?
